Box Lacrosse

  1. How can I register for Box Lacrosse?
  2. When is the Box Lacrosse Season?
    • The Box Lacrosse season runs from April - July.  There are preseason activities that take place, such as evaluations, practices, player development.
  3. How many games and practices are there each week?
    • Mini Tykes typically have one practice and one game per week (usually alternating between home and away), Tykes will typically have 2 practices and 1-2 games per week (usually alternating between home and away).  Novice - Junior Female will typically have 2 practices and 2 games per week (one home and one away).  At the coaches discretion additional practices may be scheduled.
  4. When is the practice and game schedule released?
    • The practice schedule is generally provided by LMLA to teams the last week of March.  The game schedule is provided by the Lower Mainland Minor Lacrosse Commission generally a few days prior to the start of the season.
    • Please note that LMLA has control over the assignment of practice slots, but the Lower Mainland Minor Lacrosse Commission creates and sets the game schedule.
    • Games and practices could be on any weeknight or day/evening on the weekends.
  5. Where will we play?
    • You will have home and away games. Novice - Junior Female divisions could be playing against Associations from anywhere in the Lower Mainland.  Mini Tyke and Tyke teams typically play Associations in closed proximity to Langley.

Field Lacrosse

  1. How can I register for Field Lacrosse?
  2. When is the Field Lacrosse Season?
    • The Field Lacrosse Season runs from mid-September to mid February
  3. How many games and practices are there each week?
    • All divisions generally have 2 practices and one game per week.  Teams have one practice on a Lacrosse field and one practice on a dry floor.
  4. When is the practice and game schedule released?
    • The practice schedule is generally provided by LMLA to teams the 2nd week of September.  The game schedule is provided by the Pacific Coast Field Lacrosse League generally a few days prior to the start of the season.
    • Please note that LMLA has control over the assignment of practice slots, but the Pacific Coast Field Lacrosse League creates and sets the game schedule.
      • Typically Female games are schedule for Saturdays, and Youth/Coed games are scheduled on Sundays.
    • Practices are held on weeknights.
  5. Where will we play?
    • You will have home and away games. All divisions could be playing against Associations from anywhere in the Lower Mainland.
